The new KHT2005.3 K1 is the latest incarnation of KEF’s multi-award winning KHT2005 home theatre system. Complete with four compact die-cast satellites, matched centre and powerfully compact KUBE-1 subwoofer this dynamic system transforms watching television into a cinematic experience.

The satellites and centre channel contain a matching 100mm (4in.) Uni-Q® driver array whose metal dome tweeter and neodymium magnets deliver an extended bandwidth normally associated with much larger units. KEF’s patented Uni-Q driver configuration places the tweeter in the acoustic centre of the bass/midrange cone. This creates a single focused audio source that disperses the sound image evenly throughout the room so that everyone enjoys the full richness of music or movie soundtracks regardless of where they sit.

Whether you are enjoying the latest action packed blockbuster or the rhythmic sounds of your favorite music, the incredibly compact KUBE-1 subwoofer produces impressively powerful and precise bass. Its attractive cabinet is designed to be space saving while the 200W Class D amplifier, which powers the 200mm (8in.) long-throw bass driver and the 200mm (8in.) ABR (Active Bass Reflex), provides a performance that belies its size.

An ingenious multi-directional base makes it easy to place each satellite loudspeaker wherever it suits you; on a flat surface, at an angle on wall, or on the optional floor stands. It all makes for a compact, attractive, superbly engineered system that delivers audio performance way beyond what you’d expect for the size.
